Intelligent Apps is a sub-company of Data Perceptions, the developers of Prophecy, the sales forecasting software application which is aimed at helping business forecasters to develop accurate sales forecasts across multi-level product and customer hierarchies.

Prophecy Sales Forecasting Software

Prophecy is aimed at helping business sales forecasters develop better, more defensible sales forecasts.

Prophecy's flexible database and reporting structures support the sales forecasting process of quantities, revenue and profit.  It supports multi-user read-write sales forecasting out of the box without the need for distributed 'sub-cubes' and instant , automatic consolidation over hierarchies of products and customers, across dependent facts and time periods.

Prophecy came into existence because most of the world uses Excel for sales forecasting, but for many reasons, Excel is a far from ideal platform for sales forecasting, especially when there is more than one forecaster.

The Software Update Wizard

D-Limit accompanies another 'spin-off' software product from Prophecy, the Software Update Wizard.  The Software Update Wizard is a set of developer components which allow software developers to add automatic updates over the internet to their software with literally only a few minutes of coding.

The Software Update Wizard originated from the requirement to deliver automatic Prophecy software updates to our customers and is now in use in hundreds of software applications, across thousands of computers worldwide.

D-Limit

D-Limit, our delimited file editor, was created to address the difficulties that many Prophecy database manager users were experiencing, maintaining their Prophecy input files, such as hierarchies and cost data, in Excel.  For example, Excel tries so hard to help you that it automatically strips leading zeros from what it interprets as numeric fields.  This causes problems for customers who have leading zeros in their product or customer codes.

Rather than present these 'spin-off' products through Data Perceptions we prefer to give them their own 'micro' web sites.  They are fully supported, quality software products and we develop and support them as seriously as the product that originally caused them to be created, our Prophecy sales forecasting software.
